How it works
In October 2025 Diagon Alley opened in Kailua for all to experience the magical world of Hogwarts Hawaii presented by our amazing young witches and wizards. Guests could make a donation and exchange their muggle money (dollars) for galleons to purchase magical items and sweet treats in the various shops inside.
Who this benefits
100% of the proceeds were donated to Habitat for Humanity to help families re-build homes after the 2023 Lahaina wildfires. Over the past three years, this hardworking group of kids have raised over $100,000 and enchanted 4,000 Kama'aina with the ancient magic of Lily Potter...Love.
Galleons
Galleons (the currency used) can be exchanged for muggle money at Gringotts's Bank. The current conversion rate is
1 Galleon = 1 Standard Muggle Dollar.
How the Magic happend
Gavin and Logan Marotta-Cerwonka have been bringing Harry Potter's secret wizarding world to life for the last eight years. What started as a just a tent in their front yard has progressed to ten shops, more than 45 volunteers, and most importantly, love and support for those in need.
