How it works
In October 2020, Diagon Alley opened in Kailua for all to experience the magical world of Hogwarts Hawai'i, presented by our amazing young witches and wizards. Guests donate their muggle money (dollars) in exchange for Galleons to purchase magical items and sweet treats in various shops inside.
Purchase Tickets herE!
This year, due to the amazing turnout in 2025, Hogwarts Hawai'i has implemented a digital ticket purchasing platform to reduce line wait times. By scanning the QR code, you can purchase tickets with a designated entry time, and enter through the front of Diagon Alley!
Location: 156 Kakahiaka St, Kailua, 96734
How the Magic happend
Gavin and Logan Marotta-Cerwonka have been bringing Harry Potter's secret wizarding world to life for the last eight years. What started as a just a tent in their front yard has progressed to ten shops, more than 45 volunteers, and most importantly, love and support for those in need.
Who this benefits
100% of the proceeds are donated to Habitat for Humanity to help families re-build homes after the 2023 Lahaina wildfires. Over the past three years, this hardworking group of kids have raised over $100,000 and enchanted over 4,000 Kama'aina with the wonderful wizarding world, spreading magic and love statewide.
Make a donation
If you can't come in person but are still inspired by these amazing kids, please consider making a donation to show your support! All proceeds will be donated to Habitat for Humanity
2026 update
Due to popularity, Hogwarts Hawai'i will operate with a one way route. Witches and Wizards will enter through Diagon Alley to buy their wizarding supplies, then head through platform 9 3/4 to the Hogwarts Express, down Demontor alley and finally on to Hogwarts for the Gryffindor common room, Great Hall and more!
Galleons
Galleons (the currency used) can be exchanged for muggle money at Gringotts's Bank. The current conversion rate is
1 Galleon = 1 Standard Muggle Dollar.
